ArtSmart Trout Lake Invites Arts Educators to Apply for Grant Funding
Are you an artist in the Gorge? Do you enjoy teaching others about your craft? ArtSmart Trout Lake is a new organization with the mission to foster investment in arts education for students of all ages in the Trout Lake area. ArtSmart Trout Lake operates as a committee of the Trout Lake Arts Council, a non-profit that has been promoting the art and artists of the Mid-Columbia for the past 20 years.

ArtSmart is currently inviting arts educators to apply for funding. Examples of qualifying programs include a weekend music workshop, arts summer camps, after-school arts programs, audio equipment for the school theatre program, and musical instruments for preschool education. The possibilities are endless. ArtSmart supports educational opportunities for young and old and in between.
Arts educators do not need to live in the Trout Lake area or be associated with a school to apply but any activities must impact arts education in the Trout Lake area. The application deadline is October 1, 2019 with awards announced by Dec 15, 2019.
