Trout Lake is active outdoor and indoor all year round, with hiking, biking, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, climbing, rafting, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, wildflower walks, eating and drinking, and of course just actively lazing around.
Gifford Pinchot National Forest is one of the oldest National Forests in the United States and covers most of Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens. The east side of Mt. Adams is part of the 1.4 million acre home of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation.
The Pacific Crest Trail passes right through the area, and Trout Lake is a favorite place to rest, recoup, restock, and restart. Trout Lakers take pride in welcoming and helping through-hikers and day-trippers alike.

Mission: Promoting healthy lifestyle in harmony with nature by providing presentations/workshops, product information/demonstrations, and free or low cost health screenings (BP, blood sugar, foot & posture analysis, etc.), emphasizing local resources and natural, practical, ecologically sound methods for individuals and families to get and stay healthy.
Setting: Booths around Jonah Ministries Gym and seating/presentations/activities in center of gym or stage, possibly using audiovisual shows on large projection screen. Longer presentations in Chapel, TLC (camp store), & Party Room. Possibly use Dining Hall for lunch.
