White Salmon River Rafting – Trout Lake, Washington

Trout Lake, Washington is a GREAT place to set in for your rafting down the newly navigable White Salmon River. In October of 2011, PacifiCorp, the owner of the Condit Dam, blasted it apart to restore the wildness of the White Salmon River. Read more about the Condit Dam removal (Courtesy Oregon Public Broadcasting).

Many of the amenities the Trout Lake area offers for hikers are perfectly suitable for white water rafters. See our Pacific Coast Trail hiker information for some local food, lodging, service and sightseeing opportunities.
